There is no formal season start and end dates to our Mexico hunts. However, those wishing to hunt Coues deer in northern Mexico should plan to hunt during the rut when deer activity is highest. Coues deer in Mexico tend to rut slightly later in the year than Coues deer to the north. For this reason, we prefer to hunt Mexico Coues deer in January and February, though other arrangements can be made.

Sonoran Coues Deer: Opportunities

We spend significant time every year scouting our Sonoran Coues deer ranches to make sure we know what is happening in the field when we get there. We hang trail cameras and follow the bucks growth and movements throughout the year. It is not uncommon to see dozens of bucks a day, giving you the choice of which buck you want to hunt.
